First, controlling another's emotions? Not this person , and allowing one's self to be overwhelmed I think not. Oh so empaths tap into others so they can experience, how so. Do not agree with all of this. I'm rather quiet, I'd rather experience something with a person not through them .

They aren't,… they just Think and Act like they are. People who claim to be empaths seem to have a need to assign more significance and value to their lives than their personal history merit, to they make this claim to be more special than others, which can easily be tested. It you believe that you (or someone you know) are an empath, please get tested as soon as possible.
There is no such thing as an empath. No one EVER has demonstrated the ability to feel other people's emotions supernaturally (Beyond the abilities we all have with our natural senses)
If there ever was an empath who could prove it, this would change the world and science as we know it, revolutionizing the world that we live in. It would be the equivalent of finding out that a magician was actually using supernatural powers, not simple trickery.

I'm 66 and have always been a "square-peg". I've had an often, though not always, involuntary solitary life of intense introspection ( cause wtf else are you gonna do) and have always struggled to figure out my proper "label" and "adopted" many at various points in life as they fit my self perception at the time. For example, in 1962 at age 8, I decided I was a "Hood ( as in "Hoods and Collegents"…Google if necessary or interested. I know it's been fascinating so far lol) because I liked to wear black leather VERY pointed shoes with 2 inch heels, black tight pants and fancied a "pompadour with a D.A." for my hair. Understand please that at age eight, the latter list were GOALS not attainments at that time since my parents weren't happy with my choice. I've also been a musician forever. Was a mystic until 45 when I experienced my Christian conversion. Smoked a lot of weed, had about 15 acid trips. Called myself a hippie, pagan, liberal, conservative, neurotic and a few others. And then 2 years ago, the term "empath" came into my vocabulary and it was a "Eureka" moment! Sure I had a more important point but I'm tired of writing lol.
I don’t know how to channel my energy yet when it is not mine. I was extremely sad for two weeks and I knew it wasn’t me. I kept trying to figure it out and once I figured it out it left me. I want to get to the point where I can immediately “let it go.” But I know it’s gonna take time and practice.

If I am not sexually attracted to someone but every time they come around i feel a Weird feeling In my Abdominal area.. I hate it it’s horrible!
