  1. Showing empathy in the business world is really useful.
If you're a CEO, showing empathy can make your employees want to work harder and less likely to leave.
And all you need is to just show it, you don't really need to feel it.

  2. Yup and because of the lack of empthay EVERYONE has to suffer today. And by that I don't mean that everyone is having a bad life, I just mean that we have so many problems today that we could solve with empathy… When will people understand this? :/ I mean look at politicians, best example… Imagine what would happen if they would actually listen to other people! Like we would actually work together, obviously.. and not against each other all the time

  3. I searched for how to have no empathy at all and why did this come?? I am highly empathetic and combined with my naivety it becomes threatening for me so i wanna lose empathy completely.

  4. this man has never worked a real job in his life. he is a motivational speaker he gets paid big bucks to give speeches and write books and write books about how hard work is and normal people eat it up its disgusting

  5. that is not empathy its compassion at best. i knew this would be bullshit the moment he said "our business world." empathy and compassion are opposed to capitalism. karl marx was right on human nature and alienation. compassion and empathy is not just asking someone whats wrong, thats fake and ultimately worthless. real empathy and compassion is understanding that all people could be experiencing something awful and struggling to work to live in a cruel capitalist job and cutting them slack despite it being against corporate interests bc you know that life sucks and working can be difficult

  6. Ahhh I do that but not because I care it’s because I’ve studied psychology and know how to influence people. I don’t really feel these things but I’m very analytical and notice behaviors that deviate from the norm and choose the right emotions to express to influence them
